The Fiber Optic Distribution Cabinet (FDC), also known as FDC, is designed specifically for the cross-connection of fiber optic feeder cables and distribution cables in Fiber the Home (FTTH) networks. They allow you to place active equipment inside the cabinet, eliminating the need to own/rent and maintain expensive structures. FTTH (Fiber to the Home) cabinets are critical indoor or outdoor enclosures in Passive Optical Network (PON) architectures that house, protect, and organize fiber optic components, including splitters, patch panels, and splices. Whether the network is point-to-point fiber, ring, or point-to-multipoint (with optical splitters), the FDH.
